Ruling Vileplume/Klefki

So I have both Vileplume (AO 3) & Klefki (STS 80) on my bench. Does Vileplume prevent Klefki from using its ability?

I don't think it should, but right now in TCG Online it does.

Vileplume and Klefki never interact. Irritating Pollen only prevents Items from being played from the hand. When Klefki is played, it is a Basic Pokemon, not an Item. It doesn't become a Tool card until after it is already in play and Wonder Lock is activated. At this point it's no longer in your hand, so Vileplume's Ability wouldn't stop Klefki's Ability from activating.
