Just toying with the the idea of Anti-Lostgar which might start showing up more and more. And as the old saying goes, fight fire with Fire.

Pokemon: 18
2-1-2 Gengar (PRIME)
2 Crobat G
2 Skuntank G
2 Honkrow G
3 Seviper (COL)
2 Sableye (SF)
1 Absol Prime
1 Spiritomb (Keystone Seal)

T/S/S: 26
2 Lost World
2 Broken Timespace
4 Poke Turn
2 Cyrus's Conspiracy
2 SP Radar
2 Energy Gain
2 Bebe's search
3 Pokemon Collector
1 Expert Belt
2 Energy Exchange
4 Power Spray

Energy: 16
6 Psychic
4 Special Dark
2 Dark
4 Double Colorless

Strategy 1: Anti-Lostgar

Honckrow G sets up with 2 SP trainers Turn 1 (Energy Gain/something else depending on the situation). Turn 2 Honchkrow starts sniping Gengar on the bench for early take out - if the conditions are right, then opposition is still trying to set up Gengar Prime while Honchkrow is hitting for 20-40 and an easy 1 - 2 turn KO on Gastly/Haunter.

Strategy 2: Seviper Structure

Early Game set up Seviper (CoL) and bench Skuntank G. Play BTS and set up your Gengar Prime all in turn 1-2. Use Poison Structure to poison Seviper (making sure it has the required energy) and hitting for 80 and maybe KOing after the first attack. This strategy could be useful for forcing a pesky Garchom C Lv.X to retreat early.

Strategy 3: LostGar

Set up with Spiritomb active, Gastly on bench and Bebe's search. Turn 1, play bebe's and grab Gengar Prime, then evolve into Haunter. Turn 2 play Gengar Prime and start playing energy on Gengar - Possibly setting up for Lost World while doing so.

If the Absol seems random, I will agree that it is not the BEST for a competitive build, however it will Hit Gengar Prime for weakness. Yes it can be Dragon rushed.

Spritomb is a favorite of mine though it serves no real purpose other than to help push out a rapid Gengar. While building this deck I took into account format change in September which will do away with Sableye SF, and Uxie. I realize that it is quite a few months away, but that is the reason Uxie is not in this deck, Sableye SF will be pulled for something eventually, just didn't know what to replace it with at the time of the build (maybe a 2-2 Umbreon UD?).

Constructive criticism is welcome - flamers can go elsewhere. Also if there are other combos/strategies that are appearent in this deck please feel free to point them out.

The only thing I notice right away is why don't you expect the LostGar player to set up just as quickly as you do? If you can build a Gengar in 1-2 turns, said LostGar player can do the same, so your theory of "Honchkrow sitting and sniping whilst they're trying to get set up" won't work as well as you think.
Now I don't know too much about LostGar format, but I do know that any experienced LostGar player, or any other experienced player for that matter, can get mostly all set up by T3 at the latest. So in order for this deck to be a good counter, you much match that speed.

i do realize that a Gengar can be set up just as fast if not faster than in this build. and i did say
... if the conditions are right, then opposition is still trying to set up Gengar Prime while Honchkrow is hitting for 20-40 and an easy 1 - 2 turn KO on Gastly/Haunter.

i do emphasize the "IF" part of that statement, however its a doable concept if i win the coin flip, play a Crobat and flash bite making it very plausible to 1 hit a Ghastly (assuming thats first turn) or possibly later in the game.

I do understand that conditions are RARELY if at all perfect. i do appreciate not knocking down the deck and giving a fair response.
