• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

    When posting in a thread, be sure to explain all your suggestions thoroughly. Additionally, do not ask for advice in another member's thread.

I'm playing in a big state championship tournament tomorrow and had planned on grinding the versus ladder in PTCGO all night, but since the Sun and Moon sets completely broke the game I figured I'd ask your guys' advice on my deck.

Energy: 13

Strategy: The deck is kind of centered around how powerful energy cards become. With Volcanion I can discard energy to do 30 more damage each turn. With my stadium, I can discard energy for draw power. With Starmie, I can discard any card from my hand and put any two energy cards back into my hand where I can do it all again. I try to only really attack with baby Volcanion and Flareon so that's where Ninja Boy comes into play. I've never played a game with him though so I'm not sure if he'll work as well as I hope he will, but starting with Volcanion EX or Staryu could be very bad. One good thing is that I'm able to search with Volcanion EX with dive ball as well since he is part water type.

I have a few more cards I could throw in like Trainer's Mail or maybe another energy in place of one of my switches, ninja boy, or even pokemon center lady. I feel like I need to change something, but I haven't gotten to play with this newest version of the deck. I could also add another pokemon ranger if you think it would help, but I'm worried about having too many dead cards.
