Ruling Weakness vs resistance

Which one is calculated first? Weakness or resistance? If bisharp hits for retaliate for 30, is it... 30X2-20 = 40? Or is it 30-20 x2 = 20?

Weakness first, then Resistance, in all cases. Retaliate would do 40 damage.
