I basically stole this idea from Josh Bangle's Snap Crackle Donk; I just wanted to do it a little differently now that we're going to have Fliptini in the format. The idea is to have a cheap way to deal with every popular weakness in the format, meaning if you go first and they start lone anything, you win. If not, you still hit for high damage thanks to weakness and hopefully apply enough offensive pressure to screw with their set up. Cincinno cleans up mid-to-late game. I don't plan on taking this outside of league, but I wanted something less competitive and more fun because I mostly play against kids. Here's a list:
2 Fliptini NV
2 Emolga EP
3 Mincinno
3 Cincinno BW
2 Sawk BW (Or Throh, which ever one does 20 for 1)
2 Luvdisc TM
1 Tyrogue
Total: 15
4 Juniper
3 PONT
4 Pluspower
4 Dual Ball
4 Junk Arm
3 Pokemon Communication
3 Pokegear 3.0
2 Seeker
3 Switch
2 Catcher
3 Energy Exchanger
Total: 35
4 Rainbow
4 Double Colorless
1 Water
1 Fighting
So I took Josh's original list and replaced some stuff, but I think there could be some other cards that will work better with Fliptini while keeping the general strategy the same.
Basically (pun intended), it's basics that can hit for 30 on the first turn, and ideally 60 after weakness.
Things I'd like to add:
Something that hits for Psychic weakness, Zoroark to deal with Reshiram/Zekrom, Solrock/Lunatone instead of Throh (maybe).
Again, this is NOT meant to be competitive or expensive. No collectors, no Yanmega. Other than that, any ideas are welcomed and appreciated. What do you guys think?
