Being a somewhat avid Pokemon Card collector, I recently decided I need a new "hook" to spark some fresh interest in collecting. So, I decided to collect one of every Starmie card ever printed (in English).
I stopped collecting cards in 2000 and only in the last year did I restart my collection (at an astoundingly brisk pace). This meant a great deal of investigation on my part in order to learn what has happened in the TCG since my departure. One surprisingly simple question that the Internet appears to be withholding from me is when WoTC/Nintendo began printing reverse holos.
From what I've seen, it looks like refractor holos started in the E-Reader Era. I've cataloged the Starmies from every set, and I've found pictures of every single one. Except a refractor holo from Deoxys. eBay comes up empty, Google comes up empty, and so this is kind of my last resort.
1. Did Deoxys have refractor holos?
2. If so, why can't I find any record of a refractor Starmie?
