What decklist program should I use now?

So I used to use redshark both to playtest against myself, and to store and organize my extensive decklists. (I have 100+) Since redshark isn't being updated anymore in leu of a new, better simulator, now I'm not sure what to do. I can import my decklists one at a time into Steven P's decklist program, but I don't want to do that if this other new program is coming out any day. Any advice? Is there an easy way to import decklists into something besides Steven P's thingey?

Bebe's Search is a good site. I have 16 stored lists on it, and you can use all your lists to play on PlayTCG too.

It already has NV (set hasn't even released yet). They're pretty good with it. They use PokeGym scans IIRC so when they get scans, it's going to be in the system soon.

PlayTCG is really nice IMO. A lot of people use it now. It has images of the cards unlike RedShark. You can store decklists easily, but it does have small quirks like you can't attach cards. It's so easy to play and set up games and you don't have to download anything, on the upside. I recommend it.

dmaster out.

PlayTCG is what I use to test– there's no problem with it having recent sets, and once you get used to moving cards, damage counters, prior evolutions, etc. along with a Pokémon (eg if you retreat), it's really super-easy. Bebe's Search also makes it useful for finding cards (except N– dear lord, you have to scroll through every legal Pokémon with "n" in its name that comes before N alphabetically...), which is nice.

Do they update the database promptly when a new set comes out? And is playTCG a good system?

Yes, they already have NV, and the system works really well. Switching if you have a ton of energy on you if annoying though.

For "N", type in its card number.

One more question: Using PlayTCG, If you make a second account, can you battle yourself with two windows open?

You actually can: http://www.pokebeach.com/forums/thread-how-to-use-playtcg

Step 8 under How to Setup Games.

Yeah, you can even use the same account: just get the link and put it into a separate window/tab. It's super easy; the only thing that's annoying is switching between windows, but even that's not that bad.
