you go to a pre-release tournament...I mean its $25 so what do I get for that, and what kind of deck to I have to make 40, 60 cards? and dont you get additinal packs after the tournys over?

You get 8 packs, 10 card each, so thats 80 cards, plus a promo, sometimes a deck box, a pin for that pre-relaese. You get 6 packs to start with, and you make a 40 card deck. At the end you get your other 2 packs. They also having drawings in between rounds, and normally have a DS tournament. It's alot of fun, for a good price, and you get the newest set before anyone else (or atleast the english cards). Worth going to.

You get a gift of welcome and 6 pack with that six pack you do a 40 card deck the energies they give them to you after the tournament end when you give back the energies they give you 2 more booters

yes i think but its in certains prereale not in all and its a tournament with that deck but i haven't been in one of tht so i don't know in what consist

I've only been to 1 prerelease so far, but I can tell something about it I guess... (in the Netherlands, as you all probably know by now xP)
You get 8 boosters for a reduced price, that was the main reason I went. xP I'm poor, lol.
You also have to think a whole lot different when deckbuilding. With that, you have limited time to do so, we only got 45 minutes. Cards that usually are awesome(mainly stage 2s) suck at prerelease('cept for Infernape, you're god if you managed to draw a whole line of that) and vice-versa. You just have to build a fast-hitting deck with the least types possible and play a LOT of energies, since you probably don't have a draw engine and about 6 trainers total. Btw, I ended 2nd, only beaten by our Nats champion, so I was pretty proud of myself ^^ it's a very different experience than normal tournaments tho, and well worth to check it out. It also gives people who don't have 3 Flygon ex d or just can't build the deck of their dreams yet because of a lack of cards (like me) a good chance because everyone starts a deck from scratch with only a few sucky cards to choose from (for example, the best cards I got were 2 Rhydon and 2 Wobbuffet, so I went and built my deck with those).
And it's likely there will also be side-events and limited edition goodies for everyone(a pack of 60 D/P sleeves, in this case) , and of course a cool prerelease card.
EDIT: I see it hasn't been mentioned before, but the deck you must build is only 40 cards.

There is no max amount. Anything that suits you. Since lack of draw power, I suggest 18-20, depending on how many trainers you pulled. Out of 40 cards total, that's quite a lot.

You'll get used to it. You just gotta find a combo in your cards, no matter how strange it is. That's what i do and i've never come in less them 4th, and have won 8 (starting when they stopped giving out extra packs to the winners -_-). And hope for a Lv. X

I just played any trainer I got my hands on. In fact, that Energy Switch and Switch were totally worth it when my Rhydon got in trouble against a Noctowl >_>

Also they'll provide free energy. I'm not sure about basic dark and basic metal energy. Probly will have to play proxys. Free energy! Lol.

i won the dp tourney, i used carnivine and drifblim. weird way to play, but actually the funnest. When you have to face someone with the best cards in the game, you rarely win, but with this, the chances are all even.

Nothing. You don't get anything more for winning. I remeber when I won my first Pre.... that's the tournament they stoped giving 8 packs to the winner -_- Won everyone Pre since then. None before then. Pretty sad.
