What POP sets are still legal?

POP1~Not Legal
POP2~Not Legal
POP3~Not Legal
POP4~Not Legal
POP5~Not Legal

POP6~Uncertain
POP7~Uncertain
POP8~Uncertain
POP9~Uncertain

POPs 1-5 weren't legal at the start of the last modified format, as well as the one before it. 6-9 have not been announced to be part of the 2010-2011 modified format, so they are very likely to be rotated as well.

This could be bad cause I might have to exchange my POP 8 Rare Candies for HS Unleashed versions. :(

You can use any rare candy, as long as it has been reprinted in a modified legal set, meaning you can still use your POP8 Rare Candies in modified events.

Yeah however the HS Unleashed version has added text saying: "(If you choose a Stage 2 Pokemon in your hand, put that Pokemon on the Basic Pokemon instead of on a Stage 1 Pokemon.)"

The gameplay mechanics of the card remain exactly the same. Additional information is not required. In the event that the mechanics had been changed, all you would need to do is carry a piece of paper with the new mechanics printed on it. In either case, your POP8 candies would still be legal.

which only means you must play the older ones as such, so you must have atleast 1 newer print in the deck, the other 3 can be as old as can be.

You have no idea how translations work. Please do not try to make up rules. This leads to misinformation proliferating the community. If you do not know a rule, please do not make things up.

If you need a translation for any cards in your deck they must be separate from your deck, not one of the 4 copies within the deck.

No. For the most part, if you have an english version of the card, you wont need a separate translation. No cards that I know of have gotten that extreme of an errata to cause this problem. You don't need any new translations for candies. You don't need 'em for Buffer Piece, DCE, or Elms either. I don't think you need them for Copycat or Pluspower either(PP you might but I highly doubt it).

*facepalm* it doesn't matter what print of the card you're using as long as the card is still out there. you can use sandstorm candies if you want.

Once again, don't make up rules. POP sets 6-9 are legal. 1-5 are not.

END OF DISCUSSION
We're talking about the next format, not currently. If you have a source that nobody else does then please share.

actually, that was not stated in the OP.

Currently, POP 1-5 are rotated out, 6-9 are currently legal.

As it stands right now, with the new format being MD-on, pop 6-9 would most likely be rotated out.

No POP-sets are on the list of legal cards in the next format.

It's not THAT hard, is it?
