Playthrough What Happens After Playing 999.99 Hours of Pokémon?

Hi, I'd like to know if there's any bad consequence when reaching the 999.99 hours of gameplay in HG (I'm assuming the game won't register more than that time of gameplay but correct me if I'm wrong)?

The internal battery has run dry. The game can still be played. However clock-based events will no longer occur.

Yes, to re-state what Drohn said; the game is still playable, saveable and whatnot it's just the Play Timer will no longer advance past 999:99.
