Seems like no one's read the announcement. Why not?

You can and will be reprimanded for giving wrong answers in this forum. Your answer had better be the right one.

If a question has been answered, report it. Yet I've seen 0 reports regarding answered questions and I just locked four or five topics with questions that have been answered correctly.

Post your excuses here. And I want to see replies, from the people that post here, and not just views.

Okay, not JUST locked. But sometime recent.

And yes, not all of them.
 
Sorry for not reporting the threads because I was kinda busy today. Apart for that, I would also like to apologize for giving the wrong answer in the Magmortar thread because I totally forgot about the fact that they did not state the word "Basic" in there. I promise not to repeat the same mistake again... :)
 
Well, I had a question (three actually), and some one answered two of them, but was a bit unsure of one of answers, so I still have an unanswered question. That is why I didn't report it.
 
I do not usually answer questions unless I am 100% sure of the answer. I look around the forum heaps though, learning stuff from other people's answers.

Now that you raise the point I will try to report threads if I can.
 
No excuses here, just something I would also like to point out.

Why do people post questions about cards that haven't been released? (for example: about darkrai Lv.X)
...
Each time we get spoilers, people ask about those cards.

I mean, there are no rulings nor official text on those cards, so why even bother asking that?
 
Well, I try to help, but I don't know much. I didn't report the threads that I did answer in, so I apologize.
 
It doesn't matter if you leave before your question gets answered. If you're asking the question, it's not your problem. It's on the person who answers it first who needs to report the thread.

And if your post says "Yeah I've been wondering about this too," it's spam. Keep it to yourself. You're probably not the only one who's wondering. Just wait for an answer.

I think I should make clear that you can't get in trouble for not reporting the threads like I ask. It's not a crime. It may be exceedingly difficult, if not impossible, to quash spam as a whole, but it's important to minimize it (as well as the loads of incorrect answers I've come across in the past) as much as possible in this forum. I'm doing my part by locking the answered questions to prevent anyone contradicting a right answer or just plain being dumb in a thread. All I ask is that you guys do your part in reporting the questions you answer so they can get checked and locked. Make it a habit. Report it immediately after you post.

And just remember, don't post unless your answer's right. ;)
 
I have an excuse for mine, my internet crashed :/

It's done this 10 times in the past 3 days. I'm really ticked at it. But despite my terrible internet, I'll try and abide by the annoucement more often. SOrry

You've got to give folks time to adjust. It will take a while for folks to get used to doing things a new way around here.

In my case I have no excuse. I just closed the tab with the page on it once I was done answering the question and didn't take the time to go back and find the question again to report it.
 
I made a mistake and did not report my first one as I skimmed that part (sheer accident), but the one after that I did.
 
This thread has no purpose anymore. New law states that you no longer report answered question threads, just threads that are being spammed up too much. Read the announcement for more info.
