Ruling What is the Rule for LV. X Pokemon?

I have a darkrai and a darkrai lv.x in one of my decks, do I just evolve normally by placing the lv. x onto the reg. darkrai?

So long as the Darkai is your Active Pokémon, you may place a Lv.X on it. (keep in mind that Lv.Xs do not work on EXs)

Also, lv X is not an evolution.
