Ninetails, don't ask way I just think she's cool. Ascending fire rules.
 
I would have to say out of just DP i think the Staraptor and ponyta are some of the coolest looking!

That would be the japanese version of articuno ex (fr/lg) which basically has a slightly different background. I also like the articuno blackstar promo where it is sat on a tall mountain. Altaria ex from emerald is another good one for me. I think all of those are pretty.
As for art I think is cute, I like poliwag (UF) and psyduck (aquapolis). There is also a japanese promo of sunkern which is so cute but I can never find (from a comic book)

I really like the art in the older sets. The art is improving in the DP sets too.
 
Woo!!! That Hounddoom card looks awesome!!! probably the coolest art work i've seen yet but i do agree the Ninetails is pretty sick looking as well! and naturally the Nidoking is just beastly!!! very great choices!
 
Even though I just saw it, so far, my fave art work is the DIALGA LV.X
