What makes a good Battle Subway team? I am terrible at making the teams. Super Doubles :D. (Way better than Singles) I just wanted some tips from a lot of different perspectives. Any Trick Room teams would be appreciated, as it is my favorite team focus.

RE: Battle Subway Teams

It does partially depend on what kind of train you are challenging. Wi-Fi tends to be really hard because you can face nearly flawless Pokemon in the first set of 7 cars. The Pokemon you use should be either really fast and have power or have good defensive stats to ensure survival. One thing you should take advantage of is that the AI very rarely switches. Dig actually has use here due to that where as against a human player it would not be useful.

You might consider using a Pokemon that has a set-up move first on your team and equip it with Focus Sash. Two good examples are Salamence and Haxorus. Both can use Dragon Dance on turn 1 then strike hard the following turn. Either can OHKO almost anything with a +1 Outrage that doesn't resist it or have Focus Sash.

Specific Pokemon recommendations:
  • Set-up Sweepers
    • Salamence
    • Haxorus - Mold Breaker
    • Volcarona
    • Cloyster - Skill Link
    • Dragonite - Multiscale
    • Omastar
    • Kabutops
  • Sweepers
    • Starmie - Natural Cure
    • Latios / Latias
    • Weavile
    • Heatran - Flash Fire, you will want to RNG Heatran to get Hidden Power Grass or Electric
    • Zoroark
    • Jolteon
    • Azelf
  • Defensive Pokemon
    • Jellicent
    • Celebi
    • Porygon2
    • Chansey / Blissey
    • Uxie
  • Trick Room Users
    • Uxie
    • Claydol
    • Brongzong
    • Slowbro / Slowking
    • Mr. Mime
  • Trick Room Sweepers
    • Rhyperior - will need to trade for
    • Magneton / Magnezone
    • Scizor
    • Vaporeon
    • Tyranitar

There are others you can use; I was just listing ones I could think of right away.

RE: Battle Subway Teams

I am making this team to get the Power items for RNG'ing. I use Pokegen for Battle Subway, and only Battle Subway. If i were to go to a tournament (say, Regionals), then I would definitely RNG it. (Don't be that hacker that tries to bring a Lv. 50 Hydreigon into a tournament.)

How would Power Items help you RNG?

RE: Battle Subway Teams

Subway Trainers have strong Pokemon with stats you sometime don't expect. I remember that time when a Jynx outsped my Latios... Plus, take care of those last second criticals or misses. The AI is really good at that.
However, there are two fatal flaws. No switching and no almost no team strategy. So basically you can use any better-than-average VGC team. I did a 28 win streak (I think it gives you 26 BP) with an EV untrained, non-flawless Trick Room team and a 34 with a bad rain team. If you're not unlucky, it's easy to make at least 18 points (21 wins) each session.

RE: Battle Subway Teams

You don't use Power Items when you RNG because you have to set the desired IVs anyway. Plus RNG breeding is impossible to achieve correctly in BW2 unless you're one of the discoverers of BW2 RNG breeding. Capturing is perfectly good, though; I've done it multiple times.

RE: Battle Subway Teams

Well, I don't have the Power items in BW anyways :/ I hope it will get discovered soon though.
