Aaaahh.... what a wonderful Friday afternoon, and you decide to call your friends up to play Pokemon with you. Sounds cool, right?
"Hey, mom! I'm home!" you say, trying to find your awesome deck that contains your great cards inside. You rummage through your closets, and look through your drawers, but they're aren't anywhere!
"Mom? Have you seen my... OH MY CARDS!!!" you scramble over to your mom who is by the fireplace with your cards. "Mom.... YOU FIEND!"
"Sorry, but I needed to... it was for your own good...." your mom says, throwing your last and hard earned EX cards.

How do you react?
 
well i would probably agree with the fact that i am dedicating to much time to my hobbies... but i would firmly declare that burning the cards while im gone is no solution and it simply makes it harder for me to agree with my parents. Conversation and negociation is a priority before taking actions.

but hey... no family is perfect. cheer up :D
 
teekay this is a joke.......

i would run around screaming yay and then realise whats happened and run around again wiht my broom handle:p
 
My parents would never do that. My mum knows how much money I waste on buying cards and she wouldn't just destroy them for no profit. If she had to get rid of them she'd at least sell them for money so buying them in the 1st place wasn't worthless.
 
It would take me awhile to realize what happened....then I'll push my Mom into the fire and say its for her own good!!*Ha Ha Ha Ha*(JK):)
 
Same as Abhorsen here. Just that where I live dosen't have any fireplace... It's soo freakin' hot in my country...
But it'll take my bro awile before he reliazes...
 
I would tell her that this will cause 3 negative effects.
1)air pollution.
2)waste of paper.
3)broke our relationship.

i realy dont want to pick a fight but:
Whats the point of this thread? Are we going to learn something from this or simply tell the world that "i will go postal if my mom does that!"?
if it is just a joke... they sometimes become true... and i belive that this probably has happened to some of our members, and what will we say to them? "cut her throat"?
So please have some sense and post something constructive and not your dark fantasies/desires. If a lock is in order i would agree with it as some of our younger members might view these contents.

I think i make parents buy me as many boxes untill i got all those cards back. (that would be awsome)

Either that or just quit pokemon all together
 
Yeah,it's a what-if, say your mother was really mean, ok? She woke up one day saying,"Hey! Today I'm feeling great!! That's go burn some Pokemon cards our child/kid/son/daughter/ spent half his whole life savings on! YEAH!" This did not happen, and this thread is just for fun.
