What series do you suggest collecting?

right now i only have diamond and pearl cards and thats all ive been buying. should i get another series. i dont play. just collect

If you go for collecting, I'd go for the E-Series (Expedition, Aquapolis, Skyridge), Ex Sandstorm or Ex Team Magma Team Aqua. Those feature the coolest art.

DF contains the coolest Pokémon imo, but DP2 is also worth collecting. I'm more of a player than a collector, but I will try to collect DP2 as it's an awesome set.

i dont like the e-series. the e reader thing annoys me. dragon frontier is awesome looking. what is DP2? is that diamond pearl 2? thats not out yet. also on my sisters gyrados card on the picture it says holon phantoms or something like that. but on the scan here i dont remember seeing that. is that supposed to be there

i dont like the e-series art, looks like someone with too much abstractness or someone with no artistic abilit ywhatsoever took over...i prefer Kouki Saitou and Ken Sugimori over everyone.

It's the reverse holo version.

The scans on PokeBeach don't include reverse holos.

IMO, I think DF & DP 2 is the best because they have good cards in it, for example: The ex's in DF....

If you want rare cards you could try to collect the shadowless cards from the first series, Southern Island or the promos.
