What stops a deck for stopping mid-game?

I just played a couple of games with a deck just now. It started off brilliant in both games but then when I'd got set up it just stopped working. What can I do to stop this happening?
 
If you don't run Claydol, then that's your problem. You can't Uxie every turn without consequences.
 
It is just that way for some decks, sometimes a deck lacks the power/drawing capabilities to keep up with other decks during the mid-late game. If you seem to stop drawing consistantly then I would suggest that you look at your Trainers, if you can't keep dealing regular damage then I would suggest that you either focus on donking or you consider a different deck.
 
Vulpix PT's re-head is an uxie substitute. It would be good if you play Charizard and hetran X
