What To Do With Duplicate Cards Clogging Collections

Hey guys & gals!
I collect cards with my nephew & BOTH our collections are getting a bit over run with duplicate cards. However, for me, if the card is a collectible/rare, etc - I'm happy to have duplicates (within reason)...my nephew hasn't truly grasped the collecting part of the game & carries around a 3 gallon tub of all his cards.
I have been taking inventory of all my cards & was hoping for some suggestions of what to do with 27 Squirtle cards. :)
The most recent thing has been my sister expressing her frustration with me sending new packs, decks & goodies when he has so many already. I doubt he will want to part with any of them (can't blame him) but was hoping for some suggestions.
I know I can trade them but was wondering if there's truly any interest in someone trading for cards that are fairly common? Are there some places for trading that I should check out?
Someplace I can donate them to someone or a kiddo that would be thrilled to get any cards?
Suggestions please &/or what you guys do?
Thanks so much!

Card shops will give you 6 cents for each common and uncommon card, and more if the card is a rare/holo/ultra rare. Online stores like Troll and Toad will let you send in cards after filling out a buy list. You can choose to get money via PayPal, or store credit for stuff like more packs. There is definitely interest for people to buy bulk cards.

If you just want to donate them, maybe a local Salvation Army or Goodwill would take them? (Or whatever you have around you.)

Check the Marketplace, I know there's a few people who are looking specifically for bulk cards, and will offer Ultra Rares or sealed products for them.
