1. Vileplume Varients- This really speaks for itself. Not only have I tested varients, but others play them as well. They're legit

2. Luxchomp-
Well gee, it only won the world championship.

3. Donphan- Stage 1 aggro that isn't severely damaged by trainerlock? I think yes.

4. Machamp-
Isn't SP's silver bullet, but will do some work in the format if built correctly.

5. Dialgachomp (for the first couple anyways). Dialga's gotten ALOT worse unfortunately. It just can't stand up to Luxchomp who will most likely be the #1 deck at BR's.

6. Sablelock- I personally think that this deck is garbage, but others like it. If it runs into Dialgachomp or Steelix, it folds.

7. Steelix
-After Eric Nance top cut worlds with it, everyone seems to realize that it actually is a playable deck.

8. Tyranitar Prime- 160 hp, tears through gengar, isn't too badly hurt by trainer lock. Only bad matchup is Donphan/Machamp, who can be teched for accordingly.

This is the masters metagame for FLORIDA anyways, apparantly it's the toughest state in the U.S. (as most say, no e-brag). Tech accordingly

People actually play T-tar Prime O_O IMO T-Tar will be devastating NEXT format when Garchomp C X is out of the format. Spread does nothing in the current format.

I actually think DialgaChomp, this format, will be just as popular as Luxchomp, BUT it won't beat Luxchomp.

I don't really think Vileplume VARIENTS are in the format. There's so many Vileplume varients that are completely rogue--Vileplume/Shiftry, Vileplume/Magnezone, Vileplume/Parasect, and more. I would say the only Vileplume varients that will be meta are with Gengar SF, Bellosom LA, and Jumpluff GS.

Idunnom there are alot of Ttar players, and you don't necessarily need to spread with it. T2 Power Claw into T3 Megaton tail is devastating, being able to one shot everything in an SP deck where they can't really disrupt you that bad.

Dchomp wont be popular. It isn't a pick up and play deck. It is a "you must be very good at this game to play this" deck. Just to play it correctly takes insane amounts of skill. To win or top cut with it?

Vileplume has quite a few builds, bellossom isn't good enough to be meta though, i've tested it.

That's the thing. In order to one shot everything in SP you need to discard 3 cards from your deck and be ready by T3. By then Luxchomp should have taken a couple prizes.

I think a lot of SPs are hard to play. I see your point.

Also, Florida's supposed to be the toughest state in the U.S.? No wonder Minnesotta seems so easy.

Yeah. Well listen, when Spiritomb's active, they're just as slow as you. By the time they KO spiritomb, you either send another one up, or are already ready. I have tested the matchup extensively, and Promocroak needs to attack at least twice, or you lose. If you don't know how to play the matchup, you will lose, and it isn't easy at all. Millin 3 cards of your deck is a small price to pay. 5 cards, maybe it would be different. 3, it doesn't matter.

How can you just "assume" this is the Florida meta-game? Not a single Battle Roads has gone by, and 8 of the most popular decks in the format is way too broad to just say "meta." This is more like the "meta" for the United States.

Besides that, what part of Florida? Your whole post is way too ambiguous.

AbsentGravity: Well, I believe Dark means South Florida.

shadoworganoid: Gyarados will see play, it just won't be that good until Cities.

Here in Texas the Masters metagame is a lot of SP's (both sablelock and luxchomp) along with Jumpluff and Donphan.

Machamp is not going to do very well. It has auto-loss to Polterplume.

I'm glad someone agrees with me about Sablelock. That deck is terrible.

I also do not agree with you on Dialgachomp. I think its definently tier 1, and it will remain that way for a while.

Also, I don't think Florida has the hardest metagame. I think its in the top 3 with Oregon and California.

^I also agree that Sablock is not that good.

Half of the game you're using a Pokemon that gets one-shotted by everything in the meta.

Machamp isn't going to be that great until Triumphant comes out so people can use Champrime.

Ohio is tough too...
We just don't always get like T4@Worlds(Tad, Austin and Chris did it)
But we still have worlds players in each division, at least 2 in each.
Anyhow i think something from this set will hit tier 2,IDK what it will be but i just think something will.

I completely and utterly disagree with you about DialgaChomp. It'll be one of, if not THE best deck this BRs. It counters Mewtwo, Spiritomb, Vileplume and Scizor Prime, enduces Trainer AND Stadium Lock, has the versitality and concistency of SP, and the only things it really dies to is Machamp, which can be countered with a quick Uxie X or ToxiTank combo. It'll be huge, don't you worry. Besides the difficulty of Bright Look, it has a fair matchup to LuxChomp too. Warp Energy helps get around Bright Looks, and almost everything except Dialga has little to free RC. And you just use Garchomp to get around Luxray's Resistance. Low Damage Output (Not to mention Special Metals) + Easy-to-get-around Bright Looks = Fair Matchup Just MHO. ;)

It really doesn't have a fair matchup with luxchomp. It's outsped and dominated, especially when you're deafening for 0 (unless you play ruins, 3 spaces that don't help much). It also dies to Blaziken FB (will be huge), ERL (will be huge), Polterplume (cannot get out in time, it's tested). Garchomp can't one shot luxray, so you earthquake and then get one shotted by another Garchomp...which would be a huge misplay IMHO. Also, the only real way to win the matchup is Garchomp needs to KO theirs before they KO urs, and setup 2-3 prizes on Uxie and Azelf.

Luxchomp is more designed for sniping than dialga, and should technically be able to snipe their garchomps 6 times in a row, alternating between garchomp and belted luxray, although it's extremely unlikely that you won't get revenge killed AND that they will be able to get both Aarons. Although it's not hard for luxchomp to snipe many many many times in a row, just not always for a prize with luxray.

I can tell you there's going to be some Gyarados out there. No one see's how good it is these days, even WITHOUT Felicities OR Claydol

I'm not so sure about Machamp being played too much. Sure he's a great SP counter, but Viletomb will wreck most builds that rely heavily on speed through trainers.

^I've played Machamp, even the other builds will be hurt. A power-focused build can't use pluspowers or belts, a Machamp with a Luxray tech will be hurt with no turns, and a Machamp with Lumineon will be hurt by no Warp Point (Nobody should run Lumineon/Machamp until TR comes out, so you can use Hunter).

LOL!!!! Looks like you REALLY missed the boat this time!!! From what I observed in our Battle Roads, we have 9-10 DialgaChomp players and 0 Vileplume!!!!
