What would be the top decks in the format if there were NO EXs?

I hate Exs... I think they take the strategy out of the game. But thats just my opinion :)

so what would be the top decks in the format if EXs were never printed?
 
Ninjask/Shedinja
Zebstrika/Garbodor
Gothitelle/Reuniclus

Maybe not meta, but at least viable rogues.

Gallade/(Gardevior) would be pretty good without Mewtwo and Darkrai in format, in my opinion.

You could also pair him with the likes of Zekrom and Kyurem for that matter.
 
Terrakion/TornasdusEP. run them with exp share and they will give anyone quite a bit of trouble. There is a lady in my area who still runs this and she does quite well even with EXs.

plasma infernape with a chandelure plasma that hasnt come out yet.
abilty; once during your turn you may search your deck for a fireenergy and attaach it to your pokemon.
infernapes attack does 120 for 1fire 1 collorless
with collress machine and derp
 
There would be a lot of fun decks to play, but the current EX cards ruin the game, no where near the good old ex cards from the 2003-2007 era. Pokemon screwed up on what they did. But I agree on all the decks that were listed.
 
I agree with Porygon-X: I would play Quad Sigilyph :)

I would definitely play Gothitelle/Reuniclus/Wailord (200 HP)

Without EX Pokemon, Sigilyph's ability would be pointless...

I would use a rouge mightiana bravary to beat basics with mightiana from the platinum/d&p(not sure which one) sets and keep them from evolving with bravary.

If we're doing Unlimited, I'd run Machamp SF. Or maybe even Porydonk.
 
the dark explorers theme deck tweaked with dark claws, lasers, and virbank.
I think that'd work well.
