What would happen if you were the founder of pokemon?
What would you do with the series?
I would...
have the main character as a girl...
make her really powerful...
have her have a buddy to travel with...
have win a bunch of contests...
have her go to battle frontier...

I would make the main character a little smarter.
I would also disband team rocket (keep them in the series but not as team rocket) and in stall a new bad guy.
More girls.
 
Letting Ash realize how idiot he is and quit catching Pokemon or anything Pokemon related and let him work as a priest somewhere in a temple far away in Mt. Silver. Brock will move to Orre to live near the Rock Poke Spot and nobody will ever see him again. Team Rocket will be fired and will work as employees as rangers to keep control of the Berry Forest on Three Island... and then introducing new characters :3
 
If I started the pokemon stuff I would:

-Actually have their pokemon evolve. (you know how it is, the who series goes by and ash's pokemon dont evolve)
-People like team rocket wouldnt fool them as easily.
-Main character is a girl.
-Main characters are a little older. Like 14. Not 10.
-Make the whole show a little more mature. Make it into a PG 13 Type of anime. (many anime's are like that) In other words, have some language, Brock getting lucky for once ect.
 
I would make the show more like it was in Kanto and Johro but drasticall change his team an make sure his Charizard is used more than it is now. Mainly like it used to be. I would also make the show more funny than it is now. So pretty much like it was in the good old days when it was more fun and include Misty and May as well as Dawn and make all 3 go with Ash rather than just one at a time or just check in once and awhile but all 3 at the same time. I would completely scratch the Battle Frontier and take the series of the games and replace that with the Orange and Whirl Islands both. They have skipped over that in the games but was in the show so I would make it so the games would follow the show to full extent. I would keep Team Rocket just how they are but completely replace the VA's and bring back the old VA' except I would keep Dawns VA as it is a good one. That is what I would do.:)
 
You have to realize that pokemon would lose buisness if ash was more mature, or the main charactr. As I've said before, pokemon doesn't care about us die-hard fans. Pokemon targets those chubby little elementary kids who wake up at 9 to watch pokemon everyday. The cheap jokes, overreactions, fake emotions, and various other problems make it like any other kiddie cartoon show. It would however be nice if their was two versions of the anime, one for older audiences. Another for younger humans.
 
I agree with Juliacoolo. Make one a bit more suited for the older scene. And keep the kiddie one as well.
 
i think it should have a boy that gets a starter pokemon as riolu which evolves into lucario,
after a few hundred episodes,
make the lucario strong with the power of aura,
make the trainer act older than ash is right now,
and more loyal to its pokemon,
and just stop crying, less crying more adventure it's a bit nicer to see people happier
and try to make the audince more amazed with a lucario not a pikachu it just makes me feel more happier.
 
I would have Ash die in a horrific accident and EVERY character from previous episodes shows up at his funeral and they're all talking and it's very, very sad. And then at the end, after the credits, Ash pops out of his coffin and does a song and dance routine.
