I havent played pokemon since April so what has been going on in this tcg. I just wanted to know new decks, ideas and news

Thanks

Right now, its dusknoir, t-tar, machamp, and kingdra, platinum prereleases are in 3 weeks, and rampardos and shaymin are big there, anything else?

Gigas is still up there, along with the peculiar Abamasnow.

The main decks that are running around now include:

-Machamp
-Dusknoir
-Regigigas
-Cherrim variants
-Abomasnow
-Gengar

If you want to learn more about any of those decks, the Article Submissions forum does have a deck article for a few of those.

It may not be the best, but it is fairly good, and it is dominating Seniors. As long as you don't rely on Poltergeist then Gengar is good.

Replace Gengar with something else please, as it's horrible.

I agree with you that Gengar sucks, but it still is used and can be a threat to a few things if you don't have Unown G.

Meaning you are relying on it's Power, or it's first attack.
Both which can be ignored thanks to Damage Counters, Special Conditions and Unown G

Gengar uses Unown G which stops Damage Counters/Special Conditions. As for opposing Unown G, all you have to do is play around them taking a few prizes and then wait for fainting spell to get rid of the rest.
