the deck chosen should be able to do good in worlds (senior)
and beat DGX.
 
LuxChomp is the reigning king right now. It's one of the best choices you can make in almost any metagame right now, and I think, besides DialgaChomp, it's head and shoulders above anything else in your list.

However, I would urge you to make a decision based on your local metagame, or what you predict the World's Seniors metagame to be.
 
well from the look of things lots of people will play LuxChomp, so i'll probably do that and throw in some tech to mess people up.
 
It's not all that uncommon for SP decks to tech in a 1-1 Mewtwo line, but I've never really found the room/had the inspiration.
 
LuxChomp is overplayed right now. It's even not that great of a deck if you ask me.

Donphan is the play right now.
 
I hate to say it but LuxChomp by a long shot, I mean this thing is almost unbeatable with all this cheap overpowered SP staple and its ability to hit any pokemon in play then heal off all its damage every turn I'd say it is the best listed.
 
I don't really see how LuxChomp isn't that great of a deck. I can see saying it's overrated (which I disagree with) or that there are better decks out there (which is arguable) but to say that the deck that performed well at Cities, and won the high majority of States and Regionals, and is still being played and winning at BRs this weekend isn't that good, well, that's just silly to me.

For what it's worth, I've played LuxChomp since Garchomp came out and have faced 4 Donphan/FlyPhan/etc. decks with winning records, and have never lost once. I don't disagree that Donphan has type advantage versus Luxray, and that it's a good card, nor do I dispute that either FlyPhan or Straight Donphan are the best ways to run the deck, simply I just don't feel that it's all that good in the first place. It's neat, but I don't think it deserves to be talked about in the same sentence as LuxChomp.

He's right. CURSED CYRUS ENGINE! JWittz was able to beat LuxChomp a few times with SableLock, and I'm sure you could take it down with Gyarados, but this deck is consistently good.
 
Luxchomp seems overrated and weird. I like Flyphan. It's the perfect Luxchomp counter, and Donphan pwns all.
 
Straight Donphan > Flyphan IMO. It saves alot more space you could use for better techs (Luxray GL lvX etc) problem is you make your G-dos match-up much harder, but it was already a hard match-up for Flyphan anyway.
