Help When does shining legends become legal?

When does Shining Legends become part of standard/expanded rotation? In general how long after a set is released does the set become allowed in standard/expanded tournaments?


Also if this is in the wrong location let me know. First time posting.

A new set always become tournament legal two weeks after it's released, or also known as the third Friday of the month since sets are always released on Fridays during the first week of the month. So Shining Legends will be legal on Oct. 20th.

Isn't the official release date October 20th? There has been an early release via some specials I thought, but the official release date says the 20th

What about some of the promos then? The set itself was only available via things like the elite trainer boxes and collection boxes and pin boxes? Which have official release dates of the 20th dont they?

It would be best to say that the promos come into the format the same day as the regular cards. After all, they do come with Shining Legends booster packs. I think they're the same to that extent.
