Help When Should You Use N?

Hello,

Recently, I’ve been experimenting more in Expanded. So my question is, when is the best time to play N? Is it like a card that only benefits when you’re behind on the Prize Trade, or can it also be equally beneficial whenever, even in the beginning of the game? Thanks an advance.

N is a card that has A LOT of nuance and application.

In control decks, it's basiclaly a Cynthia AND a Reset Stamp rolled into one.

I can speak for every scenario, but here's what I typically assess for when to use N outside of a "you have to use it now for resources"

- Whenever the opponent picks up a Prize to reduce their hand size and potentially keep what they drew out of their hand
- Whenever the opponent is low on Prizes and then launch an attack of my own
- Whenever the opponent is setting themselves up for a massive combo/attack for next turn.

1. If you know your opponent has something really good in hand
2 To get your opponent down to a low hand size (pref. 1 or 2) and they don't have Octillery/Oranguru out
3. If you need to draw cards and you either don't have another draw supporter or playing another draw supporter wouldn't be as beneficial
