Where do you see yourself in the future?

Everyone has wondered what they're plans for the future would be, and no doubt have they changed many, many times. What are yours? Do you plan on going to college if you haven't already done so? Is there a career you're interested in right now? Would you like to live in the city, maybe with a spouse and a couple of kids? I look forward to hearing everyone's responses :)

Good thread.

I see my self, playing Pokemon Steel and Bronze.
I would like to live in america, Australia = boring. I would like to be a Director/Actor/Writer, anywhere in the film, television business. Get a good New york city apartment or probably live in a house somewhere near new york.

Prison

I see myself retiring and living out my final days with the ones I love. That's peaceful :)

I see myself as acting or working in the video game industry.
I would like to move somewhere rural where there's an actual pokemon playing community.
I also want to attend worlds sometime in the near future, whether it be for the TCG or VGC

Also i would like to add on to it
Framing TheDarkLucario for a murder
Living with a family if i ever have a family in the future.

Honestly, I see myself topping/winning a big TCG tournament in the more near future, afterwards, I think I will either die at the age of 30, or living out a long full and lonely life as a Meterologist, with a good salary who plays the Banjo in their spare time, and maybe I will have a dog or two... Hopefully the second.

I picture myself joining the army (I will go to college first) then when I return home (hopefully I will) I will go to college again and get maybe a doctorate in chemistry/physics. Maybe not so many years in college if I decide to get married sooner, maybe Have four kids. Quite personally, I want to live somewhere kind of where I live now: a half-city half-country (I bet SinnohTrainer probably knows where I live now). I'll spend a lot of time down south, at Myrtle/Virginia Beach. I'll retire after a nice, long life and sit back with my wife and play with the grandkids.

Btw, PK95, how is Australia boring?!? It seems like such an awesome place! Cool animals, sweet accents (do you have one?), and BBQ on the beach for Christmas. That, my friend, is the life.

I see myself making technology for research in the far future that can make our human lives easier and less chaotic. Maybe I'll create something for world peace. In the near future however I might win a tournament or do something so outstanding everybody notices it, etcetera, etcetera, etc.

Where I hope to be in the future is working for The Pokémon Company International or Gamefreak itself, or for some other art-related workplace. I hope to make enough money to afford an apartment and be able to not worry about being late on paying my bills. I don't think I'll ever be able to afford a house of my own, but I don't really see myself needing one - I'll probably be living by myself, so a house would be overkill. A decent apartment in a nice part of town should be just fine. Education-wise, I hope to go as far as getting a Doctorate in Fine Arts, but that's going to take a lot of money...

Right now, however, my future doesn't look too bright. xD It's bound to get better (hopefully), but I still need to get enough money so I can go to college. I've hit a wall artistically, and the skills I'd gain in college would allow me to move on as an artist and are crucial to getting the jobs I aim to get. If things continue on this path... It won't be pretty. But I won't allow it to get that way! I must claw through the darkness and into the light! >:0 *RAWWWWRRRRR!*

After high school and college, I hope to get a small house in a good neighborhood, find a nice wife, and maybe have a kid. A kid to teach, teach how to be like me, so when I die, theres another one of me running around/joking.

As a career, I might do missionary work, might try to get a job as a cartoonist, or just fall back and become a mail man.

(a wee bit off topic) Does anyone know any good chemistry colleges in/near Ohio? Preferably in the more Northern part of Ohio? Thanks.

In a mirror.

@JacobeTheElf

As a conscript of the army of the country I live in, I'd say we need world peace. Soldiers will still have jobs because they always get called to do security stuff or relief efforts, and you never need to worry about having to re-enact your favourite FPS game in real life with no respawns.

One of my friends who was in the commando units told me how in stuff like the jungle survival training, they teach you how to kill live animals for food. And then they make you do it, as in, give you actual chickens and rabbits to practice with. And you don't to it with a knife but with your bare hands (it's less messy if you twist their necks rather than try to stab them to death)

@xous

That's quite ambitious. I never really considered art as a career option although a long time ago I did consider architecture. My major is in information systems so career-wise I'd probably end up in the ERP/CRM/SCM sectors of enterprises.

Honestly, my major is so diverse that it's hard to pick. My goal is to work in a hospital setting for some time, then move on to long-term care.

Actually I do -- PM me and we can discuss!

@XieRH: You considered architecture at one point? Interesting. I've been on and off with architecture lately. I've been considering making it my major- that and I might minor in creative writing or journalism.

It's been my dream to design the world's most famous roller coasters, water parks, malls, and even whole amusement parks, so I may need to consider looking into engineering a bit more :>

Who knows, I may be needing a few art classes to work on my drawing skills if I want a job in architecture. For my recent work, it's nothing bad, but at the same time it's nothing special :>

Engineering is also where I see myself, since math and science related topics are my best subjects in Junior High.

My brother is planning for Languages, my other older one planning in Engineering and I really haven't much clue where I see myself. I know where I would like to be in 20 years time - teaching people. I gain joy from people when they learn from me, if they ever listen.

These are all really cool to read. Keep it up everyone.
I'd hope to head to college, and get a Bachelor's in Aeronautics or Aerospace. I'm seriously considering the Army, as it can give me the skills I need to go back to college and get a better degree. Military-related sciences would what I would primarily be focusing on afterward.

I would like to pursue a career in actuarial science, since I'm especially good at stuff like Statistics and Math.

I see myself as a Graphic Designer, with a husband if he survives our relationship and one or two kids. Preferably a house with three bedrooms and an office.

I could also see myself as a game designer for Nintendo or another game maker company.
