where to begin

hey everyone
i have never played the TCG, but i really want to start
i have ALOT of cards, but up until now, i have only just collected them
do you guys have any tips on how to get started on TCG? (i am not talking about a deck list) and if anyone has a good link to a tutorial, that would help out nicely. thanks
