What deck should I run for cities

Stallgon

Or

Shuppet

Any info on how they've done at citys will be awesome
My cities is January 7, 2010

I can help you here, shuppet owns stallgon(i played this matchup in a tourney) you simply don't have enough time to stall them out of cards.
Stallgon prolly has some advantages but for consistency go w/ shuppet.

Shuppet is probably your best bet because of consistency.... and being cheapo 1 for 80 =P

Actually mine is 90 a turn 1 expert belt 4 plus powers
Annoying as h*** and broke like no other

I would say Stallgon...I don't consider Shuppet Donk to be competitive enough to be able to win...especially not after beating one at my 1st CC...and the 2 that were at that CC didn't place...I just don't see Shuppet doing all that well with Spiritomb and other such counters running rampant in the meta, with Spiritomb your 90 becomes 30 while I set up ways to KO the rest of your pokemon being you pull Shuppet back to your hand

btw, I believe you mean 1/9/2010 for your CC date, as the 7th is on a thursday, and I doubt your TO would schedule a CC on a weekday

Ya that's what I meant 1/9/09
Buri just traded away my flygon x so I'm gonna need to find one soon I might just see if I can borrow card slinger j lol
But hopefully ihave another one in time for CC

uhhh, yea, good luck with that...Flygon are pretty hard to come by, unless you want to cheat yourself royally and become one of the brainless masses who have been trading much more than what it's worth to get one...should have held onto it, especially considering that you already have a playmat

Go with stallgon, it is a much more competitive deck, has better matchups and doesn't rely on a coin flip ;P

umm, what??? are you saying that Shuppet relies on coin flips?

Yeah, you cant donk w/ all those trainers if you go first. Maybe play stallgon w/ spiritomb as your starter, to really beat the snot out of that shuppet match up, because if you think about it, you will get about 1, maybe 2 darkness grace, which is all you need, to evolve Trapinch mainly, then X it and so on.
