I think metanite is better.
I think Metanite is better because the deck is very consistent...

Oh. I chose Metanite because its a strong deck and I play it.
For me, it has to be Metanite.
Almost infinitely techable, so you can have it suit your metagame, and is one of the most consistent decks around.

R-gon can beat MetaNite if you play it correctly. And since you didn't specify if it was Flygon-EX d, I'm going with the different variations of Flygon δ, since it's so amazingly easy to make a new variation of it.
MetaNite easily comes in second, however.

If you had Saligross I would've said that..but since you don't I'll say: Metanight.
Flygon EX d. More decks and techs are starting to show up to shut down Metanite (Bandoom, Destiny, Raieggs, Gardy EX d, anything with Cessation), and so much stuff goes with Flygon EX d. It has no weakness, has a great type advantage over many decks, has an evil Pokebody + Attack that can combo with other things to just put overwhelming pressure on the foe, and nothing really "shuts it down" (Cessation hurts, but its not stuck doing little damage because of it). It also offers a great energy accelerator in the same line that goes with things like Mew d and Mew *, and with all that room leftover it easily goes with other great stuff like Eggs, Jolty, and 'Queen.
at regionals (NE@NYC) i played metanite. i went 4-3, 2 of those losses being from FLYGON (which i now hate). flygon is a stronger deck but not as consistent as metanite. i reluctantly choose flygon.
I didn't say it was bad did I? It burns through almost anything once it gets going, and it has Metagross EX as a great tech against Raieggs and stuff now. I doubt it's gonna make it too much longer with Destiny out and everything, though. An Archetype that big is going to countered left in right, but if someone goes and techs it out with some new stuff it'd be great.
At mid-west Regionals in IL it didn't win, and that's like at the peak Metagame, with the Top 3 at Worlds last year playing too. Shiftry EX (CG) ended up winning, but Destiny came in 2nd. Coulda turned out different, but Jimmy Ballard was playing a friend of his and let him have the win (And his friend ended up in 2nd anyways). As far as I can remember, only 1 Metanite made it to top cut, and once it got paired with Destiny it was over.
Now Flygon EX d won IL States, and the players were basically the same. The Metagame speaks.
