Chances to get good stuff? How about Japanese ones? They have uber ratios compared to our PUSA/PUI ratios.

Jap packs can be gotten through various online sites like Ebay. There are no seconds in the list as there are only 2 'legit' Pokemon card makers: America and Japan.

Get the latest 3 set packs and now RR, there maybe a rotation including GE so I wouldnt put my hopes into that set but we will see...
Get Platinum and RR. Then just trade for supporters and stuff.
Anything GE and on, IMO. MD has some good cards, just not as many. :[
