Which sets of cards, from Base to SV have Rare Candies? Can the older Rare Candy Trainers still be used in tournaments today, from Base to SV?

WTH? So rare candies only come in these sets?? I thought they had rare candies from the beginning, back in the older sets too???

so it has to be an exact reprint in order for the older cards to be used again?

also, is the base charizard okay for use, since the secret SF charizard was a remake???? i was beaten by that charizard in a tournament last weekend, but i wasn't sure if it was legal or not.

The base set Charizard is okay for use, as long as you have a card dex printing of the current text, since the text changed slightly.
