every pack is different, but which is preferred? lots of people like different packs but which is liked best? I want people to post their favourite or the best pack they can think of so the noobs out there would know what the best packs they should buy would be. Be helpful with this because remember: we were all noobs somtime.
 
I'm not even sure which pack is my favorite:

I am found of the Neo sets: Genisis, Discovery, Revalation, and Destiny.

I also have grown fond of some of the DP sets like Secret Wonders, Legends Awakened,
and Great Encounters.

I can't decide because I usually base my favorites on cards individually rather than sets. :)
 
I think the legends awakend packs are the best cause you get legendary's so easy my first packet of it i got a holo azelf and a jirachi!!!!!!

Also in the ex series my favourite packs were the delta series because i thought that was awesome!!!!!
 
i love stromfront because i have insane luck with that set.
any thing need i generally pull from that set.
except gengar =[[[
 
If I had to guide n00bs and tell them what packs to buy. I would suggest LA and GE. This way they have a possiblity to get Claydol and/or Uxies for good setup.

Older cards I liked Unseen Forces.
 
I liked Dragon Frontiers, Majestic Dawn, Legends Awakened, and Stormfront. I used to like Great Encounters until it started cursing me with bad luck.

I liked LA for a while, but after Heatran #4 and Deoxys Speed #3, I developed a grudge and made the jump to SF. My luck with them is so-so. But I was at Infernape #3 and still no Torterra to be found. Grrrrr
 
I quite like the Stormfront cards - there are a lot of good cards in it. I keep trying Great Encounters though to hopefully get a claydol but keep getting useless cards from them. So yah, Stormfront.
 
I just buy the newest set because:
1. I can easily get the previous set's cards from others who don't value them as much as the newer cards.
2. People normally ask for the newer cards, so I can quickly take advantage of the current demand.

lol, for me it was Mawile. I have like four by now. =/ If I had four Claydol, I'd be happy, but instead I have Mawile.

That is why I hate Great Encounters now.
