White Kyurem EX - Reuniclus

this was the idea i came up with:

Pokemon: 13
3-0-3 Reuniclus
3 White Kyurem EX (Plasmastorm)
2 Cresselia EX
2 Reshiram

Trainers: 35
4 Juniper
3 N
2 Skyla
2 Colress
3 Rare candy
3 Potion
4 Max Potion
4 Ultraball
4 Catcher
4 Hypnotoxic Laser
2 Virbank city gym

energy: 12
4 Prism energy
4 Blend GFPD
2 Water energy
2 Fire Energy

the idea is to swap as much damage on white kyurem or reshiram as needed, or store/heal the damage off with the potions/max potions/Cresselia EX.

scary stuff:
- Mewtwo EX: Donks solosis and catcherkills cresselia and reuniclus quite easy
- 1 hitters: stuff that kills me without doing damage. without damage on my pokemon, no manipulation.

comments and criticism is welcome

one damage counter heal with cresselia, yes. Reuniclus can move any amount per turn if i'm not mistaken.

Crystal edge might indeed be a good idea, but i've been thinking of Gold potion as well, im not exactly sure on that.
so i just left a potion in :p

but yes, that's a good one :)

Reuniclus moves one damage counter as often as you like during your turn.

Cresselia removes one damage counter in between turns.

-1 Virbank
-1 Hypnotoxic
+1 N
+1 Skyla

You're going to have a lot of trouble keeping Reuniclus up. I would probably run a Super Rod or two for recovery. I also think you can make this deck very interesting by varying the attackers. Reshiram and White Kyurem aren't the only Outragers. There's Zekrom, Kyurem, and even Regigigas EX. Zekrom can hit things like Tornadus and Lugia for Weakness, and Kyurem covers Landorus. Regigigas has colorless energy requirements and is easier to power up. Eviolite might be helpful to prevent being revenge KO'd since you have to load up on damage counters in order. Double Colorless would be an option, but it'll probably just be discarded by Cobalion's Righteous Edge, so I think this needs more Basic energy as well. I would take out some to all of the Virbank and Lasers.

I problem I found with this deck is that Hammertime loves you! Enhanced Hammer every turn and there goes all your energies. I have tested this deck sadly it is very inconsistent and clunky. I battled with it like 3 times and never attacked with White Kyreum sadly. I swapped back to what I had previously, A Reuniclus/Regigigas/Tornadus deck. It worked well.

3 Regigigas EX
3-0-3 Reuniclus
2 Reshiram
2 Tornadus EX
1 Mewtwo EX

This also ran on DCE which is easier.

With your current list I would... Potion is too little and too inconsistent and gold potion works in place of all three. And Giant Cape increasing the possible damage output from the pokemons attack.
-3 Potion
+1 Gold Potion
+1 Giant Cape (EDIT: Do not add this with White Kyreum)

You need more Reuniclus or a Super Rod therfore more rare candy.
+1 Super Rod
+1 Rare Candy

To make space one less HTL is not bad. Same with ultra Ball.
-1 HTL
-1 Ultra BAll

Also level Ball is good here due to Reuniclus=90HP.
-1 Ultra Ball
+1 Level Ball

You also need at least one more supporter.
+1 N (EDIT: add 2)

Good Luck I want this deck to work! Hope I Helped! :D

hmmm, yeah, the other outragers might be an idea as well. i prefer White Kyurem over Regigigas i think, because it hits for 100 base already. i will post the new list after i've changed it according to both of your comments :)

i've played with hypnotoxic lasers yesterday, and i kinda fell in love with those though haha :p

Yeah my deck began with Regigigas and Reuniclus, cause I love Reuniclus's ability, and then White Kyreum cam out and my jaw dropped! :D But then with testing my jaw returned and I hated the card. Regigigas is way more consistent and easier. But if you can find a way to make it work, DO IT! And tell me! :) I love reuniclus so I hope some deck will work for it eventually. Hypno0toxic helps in this deck because you get to damage and then you can move less damage to White Kyreum/Regi and still ko. Good card in this deck, but it is one of those cards that only fits IF there is space, therefore that is why I said take one out, focus on consistency first.

Also one card that I ran in this deck was Giant Cape which I said to add 1, I ran 2 but there isnt space for that in this deck. So maybe actually one 0 and just add another supporter instead. From my earlier reccomendations... -1 Giant Cape, +1 Supporter

Pokemon: 15
3-0-3 Reuniclus
3 White Kyurem EX (Plasmastorm)
2 Reshiram
1 Zekrom
1 Kyurem
2 Mewtwo EX

Trainers: 33
4 Juniper
4 N
3 Skyla
2 Colress
4 Rare candy
4 Max Potion
3 Ultraball
4 Catcher
3 Hypnotoxic Laser
1 Virbank city gym
1 Gold Potion

energy: 12
4 Prism energy
3 DCE
2 Water energy
3 Fire Energy

sooo, how about this? i took your reccomendations in order, dropped the cresselia for mewtwo's since DCE is just too good with those 4 basics.

i run 1 zekrom and 1 kyurem now to cover the Landorus and Tornadus matchups some more.

i have been thinking about emboar/blastoise with white kyurem instead, since it kinda needs energy acceleration. maybe in this deck with reuniclus, etherdex + more basic energy would be an idea? no idea where to find the spots though, lol.

Comments are always welcome :)

You only have five Basic Energies, so we can rule out Ether. I'm telling you, Regigigas would be easier to setup :p

I want to try Cofigrigus NV in a deck like this. It would be fun to move 180+ (with Aspertia in play) onto Black Kyurem or Darkrai.

true, true, etherdex is indeed tricky, i'd need to switch energies etc etc XD
yep, regigigas might be easier to set up, but i really like white kyurem, especially because i own one of em already, and no regigigas yet, and the former is easier to get my hands on right now :p

^_^

Better, thats for sure. but now that you are running the DCE it will make it even harder for White Kyreum. Also I did not say to add the Reshiram/Kyreum/Zekrom just so you know. That will make it even more inconsistent. :) Which is inevetible anyway :) The Cofagrigus idea actually looks really cool! :D I might have to test that out. And maybe this card, White Kyreum, would work better with energy acceleration of sort, maybe you could try to test a deck with Emboar or Ho-Oh. If you did Ho-Oh you still might be able to run Reuniclus.

Maybe a White Kyreum/Emboar list would be like this...
2 White Kyreum EX
3-1-3 Emboar
3 Reshiram
1 Emolga
This would be very inconsistent again and it just becomes a Reshiboar with a White Kyreum Tech.

The Ho-Oh idea might work perhaps... This one seems more promising so I will list the I/S/S.
3 White Kyreum EX
2 Ho-Oh EX
3-1-3 Reuniclus
2 Reshiram

4 Juniper
3 Skyla
3 N
2 Colress
4 Ultra Ball
4 Energy Switch
4 SSU (To heal and pick Ho-Oh back up)
2 Max Potion
2 HTL
1 Dowsing Machine
1 Tool Scrapper

7 Fire Energy
4 Water Energy
1 Psychic Energy
1 Lightning Energy
This might work better than the Emboar idea but not sure havent tested this. The idea would be to get Ho-Oh in the discard and get the enrgies in play to Energy Switch them to White Kyreum. Then he will tank with Reuniclus moving damage to Ho-Oh and then returning Ho-Oh to the hand with SSU and then discarding him again. Still very very very inconsistent i am sure but no idea is a bad idea right? :D

I still would run, if you were going competitive, Regigigas EX!

Back to the original point. Yes, the deck looks much better, but still very inconsistent.

i think this deck just has a problem with consistency haha xD
i might be looking into Plasmaklang, but thats pretty much what everyone will be running. although, i want to run it a little bit different. thanks guys :)

Only if you plan on using their second attacks. It's fine for just Outraging like Donphan/Dragons. But it does suck if your opponent can just OHKO everything.
