Why Claydol today and no Porygon-2 last year ?

Hi Guy's,

We all know that Claydol is a great tech and most players have one or two in each Deck.
But why have nobody played the Porygon-2 from DS is just the same as Claydol only that you can't put the 2 card's on the bottom of your Deck but that's no reason...

So why is that as it is ^^
 
everyone was more EX EX EX!!! GO FOR HIGH POWER!!! with no techs.....exept pidgeot which was the best tech ever!!! i never used it in battle as i was a noob then :p
 
I don't put P2 as it only helps to fill hands to 6 cards.... Is useless if there is 6 cards in hand...

As for Claydol, the least is to have 2 cards into deck and replaced with two new cards that might possibly helps the game a lot...

Yeah but it's just a different of 2 card's and last year we haven't so much card's in our hands...
 
We had Nidoqueen {d}, which replaced Pidgeot for a while. And we did have alot of cards, otherwise we had played Prof. Birch alot more.
 
Yeah but now we still have Nidoqueen delta ^^

But I think Porygon-2 was just the same as Claydol now is only a little bit bader >.>
 
1) Porygon-2 doesn't really do that much. You draw 1-2 cards at most. Dol is alot more constant.
2) Last format we had macargo. Macargo>porygon-2.
3) Look at the decks. All of them until DP were delta. Delta decks ran holon's castaform. That card alone made porygon-2 completely useless. The few decks that didn't either used delcatty or simply had no use or room for it.
 
Yea last year was just more and more Ex Rare Candy here, Rare Candy they're but I have used Porygon-2 + Magcargo and it has worked amazing...
 
Holon engine, Holon castform, metagross d, catty, etc.
In HL-on some people teched in a 1-1 porygon 2 line mostly in LBS, to help you recover from rockets admin.
 
it would have been okay. if you had just 1 celio and dont get rid of it, but want 5 cards, its better. macargo and queen were highly playable and awesome
