So i was looking at Ancient Origins set list, and I noticed 2 weird things
Malamar is a common and Golurk is a common
Why is this weird you ask?

Golurk can do up to 180 damage + muscle band could make it 200 with 4 energies
This is kind of screwed up in my opinion

And Malamar
He isnt as playable by any means but he isnt common worthy
He is a evolution and can do 30 for 1 enengy

And also Quagsire
Hes probably the least playable out of the 3 im talking about but he is an evolution and the artwork is so good!

So if any people had answers please say

Why shouldn't they put evolutions as common? It allows three things - enhances Prereleases, it makes it easier for kids to get a playset and it doesn't waste the uncommon spot, where you would generally prefer Trainers. They possibly also had too many uncommons anyways.

well the only reason i could see is because the uncommons and commons were like unbalanced
but i agree and stuff

Honestly, we need more of them in the common slot. We also need less of them in the rare slot. I think making them easier to access holds potential for decent budget decks and can overall help people new to the game.
