Hello,Guys~~~,This time I wanna discuss a card with you, Scizor
25-scizor.jpg

1.Its attack are all very powerful with a little energy cost.
2.Its Poke-Body is awesome.
So, Why I can hardly see this card in compitition? This question has pyzzled me for a long time:( Hope you could give a reasonable answer to it ,many thanks to you

Scizor is a fairly popular deck - or would be if it was faster.

The deck uses:

Scizor as the main attacker

Cherrim (Sunny) to improve his attack by 20
Cherrim (Overcast) to improve his defense by 10
Shaymin Lv. X to improve his HP by 40.

The deck, unfortunately is too slow to beat most meta-game winning decks.

Well 1st you would need a deck without consisting of any poke powers which i think is almost an autolost because of the speed of the other meta games and secondly dialga g lv x will shut this deck down.

And this. I knew there was something.

Dialga G Lv. X means goodbye deck.

I top-cutted in last year's City Championships with a Scizor deck (in Masters, in a very competitive area -- Northern Ohio) -- my downfall was Dialga G LvX and Flygon LvX (which knocked out my Shaymin LvX)

The deck is a good choice for a moderately-skilled Junior. It's so straight forward to play.

Another option for the deck is to focus on Accelerate. Put a Belt on Scizor, use Cherrim & Plus Powers to hit hard for the KO and Scizor becomes invunerable to the opponent's next attack.

Yeah... Scizor is a really good card, don't get me wrong, but it fails to some of the cards in the meta game. Gyarados can one-shot Scizor easily, and with that Gyarados can play around the Body. Dialga G locks the body, reduces damage, and owns Scizor.

And some more things. Too hard to keep up with the meta. However, it can still hold its own game against decks that it doesn't have a terrible matchup against.

The draw power in Scizrim(what the deck is called, Scizor Cherrim) is Unown R engine. The ball engine can be used, and otherwise just a speed trainer engine. This deck is great for Juniors who can't quite grasp the concept of high strategy decks(like SPs for example), but it is still a tourney winning deck for them.

Now. I would preferably play it with the SF Cherrim, but if you feel a bit of defense is key, I would run it with 2 SF Cherrim 2 PA Cherrim, and if you wanted, a 1-1 Shaymin tech. This way, with belt, Scizor has a virtual 180 HP(-20 damage from PA 'rims) hitting for 110 or 70 every turn. Add Plus Powers for an even bigger turn out.

For the record Scizor is popular such as scizrim faults in it is 100 HP it can easiler get OHKO, even with landmin I guess fire weakness isn't to bad since Blazray kinda died.
