Why use Miltank?

I understand that Miltank FHF gets an attack boost from stage 2 pokemon but why are people using it in greninja decks or other stage 2 decks instead of something else? Is it really that powerful doing 80 or 100 with muscle band? 100 these days doesnt seem like a lot of damage.

100 damage for 1 energy from a basic non ex Pokemon is really powerful yes.
And it having 100 hp makes it being able to survive some attacks early game at least.
This combined with the main Pokemon in this deck having 0 retreat cost and does the same damage but is more valuable makes Miltank a really optimal Pokemon that you can send in to battle whenever.

The advantage that Miltank has is that it is a less risky, low-cost Pokemon that can hit decent damage with little setup disadvantages if it is knocked out. For this reason, it can be used to revenge KO an EX or simply KO a non-EX basic such as Night March or Vespiquen without worry too much about your Stage 2 that you spent absolutely ages setting up only to be KO'd so quickly.

Greninja BREAK I've seen people use, but the BREAK doesn't count as a stage two. Anyway, Miltank is good with stage 2s that can use Forast of Planrs, Maxie's, or Archie's. Decks that have more damage being delt really use Miltank. For example: Miltank/Greninja/Empoleon. If you have two Empoleons on the bench and a Greninja, you can hit for 170 with a muscle band. Decks similar to that one, usually have a good first-turn-when-going-second-120-damage-donk.
