Will Furious Fists Rotate Out?

I have been recently thinking about returning to the game after a couple of years. I left around the release of XY set. I was thinking about buying a booster box or elite trainer box to get me started again. I was playing the tag simulators online, and enjoyed using Lucario EX alongside gar chomp. My fear is that by the time I assemble a fighting deck, will furious fists be rotated out? should i buy the newest set since nothing will be rotated out?

Furious Fists very likely will rotate out of Standard in September (so still a few months away yet). It is possible that we will get a reprint set before then that will reprint staple fighting cards (including Lucario-EX) like the set Japan got a month or so ago, but it's not necessarily wise to bet on it just yet. It should be noted that while Furious Fists will likely rotate from Standard, it will still be in the Expanded format, meaning you could use the same Lucario-EX fighting deck in the other format once it rotates.
