Will holo prices rise?

Since EXs and Full Arts have essentially rendered the standard holo irrelevant, the value of standard holos is practically the same as any old rare or reverse holo (sometimes less than the reverse holo form!). Do you reckon Black and White holo values will increase over time since they're simply mass produced at the moment and everyone wants ultra rares or will they only fall further into obscurity? It's kind of sad to see the original holo fall by the wayside and become as irrelevant as it has in favor of these ridiculously powerful and rare EXs/Full Arts/Shinys. I don't even get excited when I pull a holo these days because they're not made to be special anymore.

I think there have just been discussions on whether or not recent cards (D&P-on) will increase or decrease in value. Not sure if they were specifically about B&W holo rares.

I think you are right, that's what I was thinking about.

I'd say mint condition holos will go up because people will want to finish sets for their collection. In my opinion mint cards only go up in value, you just have to find the right collector and wait a bit.

Has anybody else noticed that the colors on early BW holos start to dull compared to normal cards? For example, here's Sawsbuck and Virizion. I can't see them retaining a lot of value if this is typical.

I had this on many boxes of cards before. Open one box and the cards are printed more dark/finer than the other exactly same box...Welcome to TPCi.

It really seems distinct to the BW-era holos, though. I don't notice this on the rest of my non-holo BW collection, but every single holo is darker/duller than the non-holo cards.
