XY Will Non-Japanese Players be Disfavoured Regarding Events in X / Y

With only about a fifth of all events making it past Japan in BW/2, will the same thing happen again?
At least in 5th gen there were event editors which let you hack in things like Genesect. But this gen we're cursed with an apparently unhackable/uncheatable system, which will (Probably) prevent us from getting at least one of the three Event-only 6th Gen Pokémon.

Also, the PWT had way more DLC tournaments in Japan and I would of thought GF would of learnt from their mistakes this time, but apparently they haven't...

You could get a legit Genesect in USA, it's just the event was only for like a week.
 
You know what I find most annoying is the reward the players who waited a couple months to purchase the games to be able to get a serialized code for the Garchomp and Scizor. It should be the first people to purchase it, not a month or two later.
 
Just pointing out, in the UK (I think it was UK only) Tesco gave out serial codes for Quick Balls with the purchasing of X/Y.

I know, but I don't count item codes.

Yeah, that pissed me off too. I guess it was done to try and amp up sales for Christmas.

Being that the game was released world wide at the same time I think the events will also follow the same pattern.

The Scizor and Garchomp have nothing special that I'm aware of so it isn't like they're getting something exclusive. Hopefully that will lessen your pain a bit.
 
I'm still waiting for my shiny dragon eggs, Nabunaga's Rayquaza, Shiny Golurk/Hydreigon, Extreme Speed Genesect, and Hurricane Mewtwo.

So yeah, even with the international releases it looks like Japan will get the bulk of the events.
 
Given all I've seen so far is the Torchic event (bar the buy it here and get a special pokemon *GRRRR*) and yet Japan at least has gotten several events already mentioned via the Holocaster, looks like they will get all the good stuff yet again. And getting sick of being an early adopter on things and getting screwed over. Should have known better than to buy the game at launch given the Lucario and starters given to BW(2) if you waited and got it at certain places. *sigh* Will have to remember next time and not get it until the NEXT version comes out and hopefully it will get dropped to 20 dollar price tag too.

The Scizor and Garchomp have nothing special that I'm aware of so it isn't like they're getting something exclusive. Hopefully that will lessen your pain a bit.

I'm probably going to get this code with my Y version, so I will let y'all know if there is anything special about it (highly unlikely!) It does come with dragon fang (which use I don't remember).
