ORAS Will Pokémon Other Than Groudon and Kyogre Get Primal Forms?

With primal Pokemon being introduced in ORAS I decided to ask you all if you think there will be more primal Pokemon.

Do you think there will be more primal Pokemon at all? What Pokemon could potentially go primal in the near future?

RE: Other Primals

Not really... well not for existing legends.

I can totally see them introduce new (say gen 7) legends who already use that concept from the start, to expand on it.

But for the main suspects that anyone is bound to mention any moment (Dialga and Palkia), I would think they would want to use more and more unique variations on the pseudo-evolution mechanic.

So whereas Kyogre/Groudons pseudo-evolution is primal-reversion, Lugia/Ho-ohs could be about some other trigger and get yet another name to add to the list that "Primal reversion" only started.

But then again.. for all we know, they could think this is a concept worth milking, and we would see Primal Xerneas and Primal Yveltal in XZYZ xD
Actually... now that I think about it, something is bound to happen to those two legends before gen 6 is over.
It's likely going to be something along these lines.

I could see this working for are Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem. They might be able to go back to their original state of one Pokémon, though this would also force them to fuse, which is something Groudon and Kyogre don't so when they change to their original form. If we ever see them returning to their single form I can see it working through primal reversion or another (new) feature.

Mew is one of the first legendary Pokémon and said to be the ancestor of all Pokémon, so I can imagine it getting a primal form for itself too. I can see the Pokémon Company doing this for the same reason Mewtwo is getting so much attention and two Mega Evolution; nostalgia.

I don't actually expect more primal Pokémon, but I could see it working for the ones I mentioned. Especially if it requires the Red and Blue Orbs I don't think others will be able to do it.

I don't think there will be any more, but there are Pokemon that it would make sense to apply it to. It would be cool to see primal fossils, and the original form of Reshiram/Zekrom/Kyurem like Drohn mentioned. I was actually hoping we'd see that in B2W2.

The only problem with Primal Fossils, is that we already have a Mega Evolution to a Fossil that is supposed to be its original state (Aerodactyl).

So M Aero kinda debunks Primal Fossil theories.

Like I said, though, I don't think there /will/ be other primal Pokemon. I just think it would be cool to see primal fossils. And I forgot about Mega Aerodactyl.

About the fossils, I don't think that's posible because like I said somewhere else, Fossil Pokémon are what just as they looked like when in their own times, only with the Rock-type added due to coming from a fossil. It's like asking for a Primal Relicanth when the Pokémon is already in the same (or with very few changes) form as it were and is known as the living fossil (or I'm confused with its real-life counterpart as for the nickname).

I'm not seeing new Primal forms but the same concept with other name applied to Arceus, and the Creation Trio...something like...well, an Origin Form for all of them except Giratina or instead of an "Origin", a "Creation form" and for all of them (despite being always ridiculous due to Giratina's Origin form.
As for The Isshu Dragon trio, I'm with Drohn, in hoping to see the original dragon.
That left us with Ho-oh, Lugia, and the ones from X, Y which I don't see getting new forms, namely the first because they're not ancient, probably younger than the trio from Isshu.

Oh, I forgot the only guy I can really see getting a primal forme..in ORAS already actually.

Mew.

It would deepen the contrast between Mewtwo and Mew, as Mewtwo has mega evolutions already.

I mean if Mewtwo is capable of mega evolving...despite being an artificial clone of Mew...wait how the hell is there a naturally occuring Mewtwonite in the first place?? LOL
Anyhow, Mew should make just as much sense to get a pseudo-evolution due to that.
But especially with how Rayquaza gets a Mega rather than a primal-forme like it's lesser bros, it's even more plausible.

Mew already had a fancy event ingame island in Emerald too, so they might as well do that before ORAS is out of the picture ;D

What about Genesect. Correct me if I am wrong but isn't Genesect a modified pokemon if so it's primal from could be his original form before he was modified.

I mentioned it before in another thread, but I think Genesect should/will revert back to its original form. Genesect was actually enhanced, made stronger, and given a canon. The old Genesect didn't have this, so it would likely just get weaker from reverting back. Losing the canon could make it faster, but it loses its signature move and possibly lowers the other stats. I don't see it happening for Genesect, but Pokémon could always ignore logic again and make the primal form stronger anyway.

What we need is a Pokémon game that takes place in the distant past and then there can be tonnes of Primal Reversions.

I think that would depend on whether they'd want to keep existing Pokemon and Primally Reverse them, or whether they'd just make new Pokemon that are based on extinct creatures.

And this is obvious, but considering it's Kyogre/Groudons whole thing now, I'd be very surprised if we got any regular Pokes with it, let alone it becoming more akin to Mega Evolution in terms of distribution.

Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem = Primordial Fusion. Yeah, you heard it here folks. Sue me! :D

Well, I think GF will eventually come up with Pokémon Fusions... and I mean real fusions, Kyurem absorbs Zekrom/Reshiram and gets elements from them but they are still Kyurem formes. I'm talking about fusing two pokémon in an equal way and form a new creature... It's just a matter of time...
