Since I'm more experienced in sprites than hand-drawn art, I'll just comment on the sprites.

The 2 older ones don't flow well and there are too many different colors.

The new ones flow better, but still aren't as good as they could be, due to being saved as jpg. Always save as png, not jpg. The older ones also have this problem.

yeah, the old ones i did in photoshop, so the colors messed up. the new ones I'm doing in a pixel art program, but it won't save as png, which is pretty dumb for a pixel art program

What is the name of the program you are using? It REALLY messes up sprites if they are jpg, and I'm not sure if there are any other file types that would work...

For your sprites: Use Microsoft Paint which if your using a computer running windows, it comes with automatically, it will allow .png save files.

As for photoshop being bad for spriting...ya not really. You obviously weren't using the pencil tool, and using the 1px*1px brush. >.<

Ya I seriously hate the old sprites of yours, and the new ones need so much work, so keep trying.

the 1px brush is vaguely cirular though, and i do have a way to save as .png now. pixen is pretty good tho cuz its actually a program meant for pixel art

I'm liking your stuff so far. I actually took a look at this thread a while back and just forgot to comment, but I can see a definite improvement since then with your Dustox and Koffing. If you want some crit, I'd say that the colors are coming across as a bit too light (it's probably a scanner issue right? I get that a lot myself). You can fix this somewhat if you're willing to experiment with art programs like Photoshop or GIMP (the latter being free, google it if you're interested). I think that bolder, brighter colors would work well with your zany style.

Also I award you with the Craziest Art Gallery Award *bing*

anyways, imma get PS soon cuz I love it and I've failed to make gimp work on my computer
