Discussion With Buzzwole and Necrozmas Running Wild, is it Time to Pull Out Hoopa?

Seems pretty safe that 8/10 players are running one of these two decks now. Does teching in baby buzz, rockruff and running malamars do enough to shut down someone running a solid Hoopa deck, or is it time to dust them off and get them into play again?

Given Buzzwole's share of the meta, I would say that it is NOT safe to be running Quad Hoops. Most Buzzwole's decks and even some Zororoc lists (see Aaron Tarbell's 11th place Madison list) run Baby Buzzwole, which alone is enough to give hoopa a hard run for the money. Zorogarb and Buzzgarb may also see a prompt rise in response to Necrozma.

A lot of Buzzwole lists are running at least 2 baby Buzzwole and super rod. Hoopa would get obliterated by that deck.

Baby Buzz is tough to deal with. I suppose it depends if you are running more of the aggro or stall Hoopa. Stall can be tough as I have learned. Aggro Hoopa might be able to get in some shots against it.

Considering the 1st place Buzzroc list at Madison ran 3 Baby Buzzswole it would make Hoopa a bad choice

Hoopa can't OHKO Baby Buzz with 2 Energy, yet baby buzz can OHKO Hoopa with 1. All I can say is good luck.

Why are people not playing Garb?! ^^^This. Exactly this is why I'm playing Drampa Garb again.
