World Championships Question

I'm currently looking at going to World's although I will not be able to participate in the main events, So for those who have been to Worlds, what is available for those attending but not in the tournament and those who have been knocked out of the tournament? I'm curious to know about the stuff that happens outside of the torunament

There are lots of side events going on. I know one room last year also had episodes of Pokemon playing. There is a store that sells some merchandise exclusive at Worlds such as Playmats and Plushes.
