I thought it would be fun for everyone to put in their 2 cents on what they thought was the WORST stage 2 pokemon in the DP-HGSS format.
Example:
Slaking PT
Luxray DP
Exploud GE

my vote goes for the DP staraptor or DP gengar.....yeah I bet you forgot they they existed.....so did everyone else.
 
Actually, I once saw someone use DP Staraptor in a Garchomp Restore deck with Snowpoint. That was pretty fun to see :p

I see Gengar DP here and there....how about these:

Dragonite (LA)
Shiftry (DP)
Tyranitar (MT)

Ok, so these kind of comments have been driving me nuts lately. I've been in the game 2 years, and work on my decks all the time, getting new strategies, and comparing decklists, but I've never actually won a tournament. Both because my area is really competitive, and because I tend to get awful luck. Like the cities where 3 of my 4 magikarps were prized more than once.

Meanwhile people like you win tournaments with whatever terrible card we're discussing. :/

Welcome to my world let's go down the list of the top 5 players in my area(this is seniors BTW)
TW-T32 Worlds has been to worlds like 4 straight years
HP-Yeah he goes to EVERY tournament and does awesome, T64 Nats last year
AP-Don't know much, really high rating T20 in World this year
AH-2nd @Nats
SB-Went to Worlds last year..

Yeah that is not fun....to say the least.

yea, that's the one...and it's beyond flippy, it's a purely a lucksack of a card...decent HP, but expensive attacks and retreat, both attacks have flips involved...this card has more lucksack involved than GeChamp

Dragonite was epic, I usually had it charged up by T3 with some spread already on my opponent...I worked really hard on that deck...so stop bashing me -.-"

Yeah, but adding Mudkip GE to Dragonite LA the deck is one of the best in the Format.

Meganium MT struck me as bad.

c'mon! this should be fun and funny! not people dissing other peoples opinions! anyone else?
 
Meganium HGSS. Sleep Powder is very situational, and Giant Bloom just sucks. 3 for 60 and recover 20? PFFT. Even Butterfree GE can do better.

So yeah Megnamium is up there, what about SW Charizard...
That card's bad too.

I will tell you EXACTLY why.

You+Me=Masters
Mass amount of people on pokebeach who score win after win=Seniors.

Masters is harder than seniors. The masters top players would SLAUGHTER the top seniors players. They get cocky. Haha

Staraptor DP is bad, but Luxray DP is pretty much-atrocious...

Um....this a tread about St 2 cards man. and hitmonTOP(the card he referenced was a top) is a basic now....forever (seriously he cant evolve any more, poor little tyrouge.T_T).The feraligator in SW? was bloody awful and will never see play. Man that was a bad card hehehe
