Instead of the common layout currently, each player can have their own playmat obtained from a code given with each mat made or just the ones buyable in the ptcgo shop. Idk, sounds weird i'm sure but i thought it was a neat idea and I hope it happens someday lol.
Discussion Wouldn't it be cool if they had the option to choose/use playmats for PTCGO?

Actually, I believe one of the older builds for the Pokémon Trading Card Game had a separate option for selecting a different playmat along with different deckboxes and sleeves, yet no other playmats besides the default were ever created to this to public (or at least my) knowledge. Perhaps it was something that was considered for the game, but was removed for some reason?
Since the recent Ultra Beast collection boxes came with playmats, I don't think it's too strange to say that it's definitely a possibility. I don't think it's very likely but it looks like there are some pieces here and there to bring the whole thing together. Here's hoping, playmats are a nice piece of individuality for players and I like the idea of more customization options for the game.
