Ruling Xatu Sw question...

Lets say i have the xatu out and like...a golduck sw. I can use its attack and do the extra damage and make myself confused. the next trun i can move my confusion over to the other pokemon. What I want to know is if that pokemon is still confused can I move another confused status to it from my pokemon? Sorry if this is confusing....

Yes, you can.

Yes you can. The new status effect will just replace the old one, in this case Confused. If it's anything other than Paralyzed or Sleep, i.e. Poison or Burn, then the defending Pokemon will be Confused and Poisoned/Burned. Paralyzed and Sleep will overwrite Confuse because you can only turn your Pokemon to one side, either left, right or upside-down...

Actually theres a deck that function this way, using that two pokemon. it works good early game, but it get stucked mid game though....(due the low damage the pokemon do)
