Ruling Xball/DCE

I Know that this subject has been bought up before, however I have a more in depth question about these two cards.

The wording in Xball specifically states that the damage is per energy attached to active and defending pokemon.
DCE says that it provides {C}{C} energy.
To my thinking DCE is only 1 energy as it is attached, as a single energy and does not say anything along the lines of 'counts as two...'

Is my thinking correct? This may also affect how the Garvedoir's Pyschic Mirage interacts with Xball.

Dce is like attaching two energy at once. It's one energy card but provided two energy. Xball doesn't say energy cards, it just says energy which is why a dce, or one {p} with gardevoir in play, allows Mewtwo's Xball to do 40.
Just keep in mind to always look to see if it says energy card or just energy.

There is a difference between Energy and Energy Card when it comes to card texts. DCE provides two energy so once it is attached, it will provide two energy.

As for Psychic Mirage, to better explain this I will give an illustrative example.

The assumptions would be Player A having Gardevoir in the bench and a Mewtwo EX with two psychic energies attached. Player B has a lone Deino DRX with zero energy attached.

Due to Gardevoir having it's ability active, Mewtwo's attached energies will now provide 2 psychic instead of 1. With that, Mewtwo would have 4 energies worth of damage when dealing X-Ball.

In short, DCE and Psychic Mirage will infact work with Mewtwo's X-Ball.

Also, dang Sleeping Snorlax had to ninja me while I was typing this text :(

Just to add more to what I said. A prime -laughs at the use of the word- example of a card that deals with energy cards, not just energy, is magnezone prime. As I laugh at myself again.

His lost burn damage is based off the amount of energy cards you send to the lost zone. Not the amount of energy. So you could send a dce but it would still only do 50 not100.

Edit: haha I did my replies on my phone while driving... Dun hate too much. -Sleeping Snorlax in no way supports bad driving habits. Including texting. So don't do it- SS

To add and even further clarify. DCE states it provides two colorless energy. Therefore there are 2 energy attached to mewtwo. A mewtwo with a DCE only has one energy CARD attatched to it though.
