Standard Xerneas BREAK/Gardevoir-GX *Post BUS*

How many decks can I post in two days? 10 apparently xD. Didn't realize I was posting so much lol. Anyways, the idea here is to set up Gardevoir-GX behind Xerneas and then bring out Gardevoir for huge damage. Xerneas BREAK functions as your backup attacker and will usually be sent out after a Gardevoir goes down. Here's the translation for Gardevoir:

Stage 2 Gardevoir-GX HP230[Y]
Evolves from Kirlia

Ability Fountain of Secrets
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may attach one [Y]-type Energy card from your hand to one of your Pokemon.

[Y] Infinite Force 30x
This attack does 30 damage times the amount of Energy attached to both Active Pokemon.

[Y] Twilight-GX
Shuffle 10 cards from your discard pile into your deck. (You can only use one GX attack per game.)

Weakness: [M]x2 Resistance: [D]-20 Retreat: [C][C]

Now, for the list:

Pokemon (16):

2x Xerneas BREAK
4x Xerneas
3x Gardevoir-GX
2x Kirlia
3x Ralts
2x Tapu-Lele-GX

Trainers (32):

4x Sycamore
4x N
1x Guzma (Can't fit a second one in)
1x Brigette
1x Skyla
4x VS Seeker
2x Timer Ball
4x Ultra Ball
3x Rare Candy
3x Wish Baton
1x Super Rod
1x Float Stone
3x Fairy Garden

Energy (12):

8x Basic Fairy Energy
4x Double Colorless Energy

Let me know what you guys think :)

If you plan on utilizing Wish Baton, and Xerneas, to their full potential I might recommend 12 Fairy over the DCE. I know you can still attach it for turn but you will be able to get out all of your Energy Xerneas style and you could tech in Max Elixirs pretty easily. Also yes you need and yes you can fit in another Guzma.

My Suggestions:
-4 DCE
-2 total Sycamore/N
-1 Super Rod
-1 Float Stone
-1 Ultra Ball/ Fairy Garden/ Tapu Lele
-1 Wish Baton

+4 Fairy Energy
+4 Max Elixir
+1 Guzma
+1 Brock's Grit/ Energy Recycler

Thanks for the advice! However, I'm not too sure about Max Elixir as this is an evolution deck, but maybe it will be fine. I'm not sure of the need for Brock or Energy Recycler with Twilight-GX and Super Rod, but maybe one Energy Recycler could fit. Here are the edits I'm thinking of:

-1 Fairy Garden
-1 Timer Ball

+1 Energy Recycler
+1 Guzma

I'm also not sure about running all Fairy energy and no DCE, but when BUS comes out and I'm able to make the deck I will test both. Thanks again :)

Fair enough, forgot about the GX attack. I'd say keep the Fairy Garden over the Energy Recycler. If you want the E Recycle then take out the super rod, imho

Yeah, I think I'll just leave the Fairy Garden there, but it will be gone in order to fit Max Elixirs. I'm thinking maybe running the 12 Fairy Energy would be worth it if I can fit in Max Elixir. Here's how I'm thinking of fitting it all in:

-1 Fairy Garden
-1 N
-4 DCE

+2 Max Elixir
+4 Fairy Energy

I think 2 Max Elixirs is fine, that way you can Max Elixir to Xerneas and you can spend your manual attachments to Gardevoir. Thanks again :)

Hi GekkisaiDaiNi,

Nice deck. Consider these modifications:

- 2 Xerneas
+ 2 Diancie

I assume that Gardevoir GX is the main focus of this deck and Diancie helps to ensure a turn two Gardevoir GX. I also do not believe that you need more than two additional attackers. Max Elixir also does not seem to be needed since you have sufficient draw power to set up and draw the energies to be accelerated onto the board with Gardevoir GX.

- 1 Vs Seeker
- 3 Wish Baton

+ 3 Exp Share
+ 1 Guzma

I believe that in this deck Exp Share is much better than Wish Baton since you can attach them to your Gardevoir GX swarm and ensure that Xerneas Break indeed acts as a backup attacker that does not reduce the energies on board when knocked out. It is also harder to get rid of three EXp Share than to get rid of the Wish Baton attached to the active Pokémon. I also wanted a second Guzma in this deck since it is rather aggressive and the switch effect is also not an issue at all with Fairy Garden.

Personally I would cut one Double Colorless Energy for a ninth Fairy Energy to ensure that Gardevoir GX can accelerate to the board a little more consistently.

Funny how our supporter line for Gardevoir GX is identical after the inclusion of the second Guzma :).

Thanks! I'm going to be posting an updated list here because looking at my posts they don't make much sense lol. I will be incorporating Diancie as a one-of, to insure the T2 Gardevoir if you cant get Gardevoir and Rare Candy. I have also decided against Max Elixir and no DCE. Sorry for the confusion about that. Anyways, here's the updated list:

Pokemon (17):

2x Xerneas BREAK
4x Xerneas
3x Gardevoir-GX
2x Kirlia
3x Ralts
1x Diancie
2x Tapu-Lele-GX

Trainers (31):

4x Sycamore
4x N
2x Guzma
1x Skyla
1x Brigette
4x VS Seeker
1x Timer Ball
4x Ultra Ball
3x Rare Candy
1x Super Rod
3x Exp. Share (I think I agree with Dark Espeon here. I will be testing Wish Baton too though.)
3x Fairy Garden

Energy (12):

9x Fairy Energy
3x Double Colorless Energy

Let me know how the new list is :)

Hi GekkisaiDaiNi,

The revised list looks much better. Here are some additional modifications:

- 2 Xerneas (with nine basic energies and Gardevoir GX you do not need him to accelerate. He is the alternate attacker)
- 1 Timer Ball (not needed with Diancie, Bridgette and four Ultra Ball)

+ 1 Diancie (trust me this card is good for Gardevoir GX. Makes the deck more consistent and faster than Metagross)
+ 2 Field Blower (great card and helps to discard Choice Band and Float Stones on Garbodor BKP)

Hope this provides some initial assiatance.

These edits look great, thanks! I have one last question-how about the new Ribombee? I'm not quite sure how to fit it in, but I think it would be good here. May just clunk things up a bit though.

Only playeda few games with my version and did not include Ribombee. I used my draw supporter for the turn to draw into the energy. However I run 10 Basic Fairy and three Doubvle Colorless.

Makes sense. Maybe -1 Field Blower +1 Fairy Energy? Also, a tech I have been thinking of is Fisherman. If one Gardevoir goes down, you can simply scoop up the energy on it back into your hand and use the other Gardevoir's Abilities to charge up another one. Might be a bit overkill with Exp. Share though.

Failed to mention earlier, but I am personally going to try this with M Gardevoir before it try it without. I personally think Ribombee will be weak overall but there will be plenty of play testing before I make any calls.
