Hey all. With the addition of dual color pokemon in the upcoming Steam Siege expansion, how does that power Xerneas' Rainbow Force attack? Can Volcanion power it up by 60 or just 30? Not that I'd pair them together, but just an example. As far as pairing, could you build a deck by using octillery for draw power, ariados to poison xerneas, florges break to heal and fuel power creation. That has one attack hitting for 100 (without dual types) and the other for 160. Multiple ways to hit hard. Maybe matching with the Ancient origins eeveelutions to add multiple types to all of your pokemon? Jolteon's ability would make Xerneas an electric type giving it advantage over M Ray. Or would that bog down the deck with too many pokemon and not enough trainer cards?

Rainbow Force would count dual types as two different Pokémon. That means Volcanion Ex would increase the attack by 60 instead of 30. He is one of the key cards in the new Rainbow Force variants. I would also include a second dual type since it essentially makes the deck immune to Parallel City. Here is a sample list. Once the rotation switch the Galvantula line and Level Ball for the Bishar line and Evosoda. In addition switch Malamar Ex out for Jolteon Ex. The deck is real consistent and fast.

Yeah i thought about the eeveelutions afterwards being a waste. What about Gokurk that counts as a psychic and a fighting and can use colorless energy to attack (AO set i think). Not an ex so i guess that limits hoopa but not ninja boy to pull him out. In fact you could attack with golurk for 120 to take the 20 damage (if you know you can survive) then next turn ninja boy him to a Xerneas, heal the 20 with fairy drop and then power creation for 160?

Ninja Boy only works on basics and Xerneas should not need to thko the defender with the new dual types. The other benefit of the dual types is that the deck will be immune to Hex Maniac and Garbodor. Use Volcanion Ex and a stage one dual type such as Garvantula or Bisharp instead. It is much more consistent and stable than alternate builds. Ninja Boy is an awesome inclusion too since you can Max Elixir to a benched Pokémon Ex and turn it into Xerneas once the active on eis knocked out. See the link in my previous response for a variant of that deck.
